Tim is a Registered Securities Principal, a Registered Investment Advisor Representative, and a licensed Insurance Agent.
A Santa Barbara, California native, Tim attended Bishop Diego High School before graduating from UC San Diego with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. He started his investment planning career in 1984 as a retail bank supervisor and underwriter for consumer loans. He operated a business and asset management firm for 12 years overseeing a number of investment portfolios, real estate and utility syndicates, and developing start up business ventures. In 1995, Tim joined an independent full service brokerage firm as partner, offering a wide range of financial services, investment planning, and securities execution services.
He is a member of the Santa Barbara Chamber of Commerce and an original principal of the Santa Barbara Small Business Development Center. Tim is also a member of The Elks, and an active parishioner at St. Barbara Parish at the Old Mission.
